If you personally rent, clean, paint/decorate or maintain your investment property, your labor, time and effort is not tax deductible. However, if DfM Property Management carry out these works for you, it is tax deductible.

Inspections

Regular Inspections are carried out by us as your property managers throughout the tenancy
Good tenancy are built on a good relationship with your Tenant, but like all things this goes both ways and it is always good practice to check how your tenants are keeping the property and if they have any issues that need attending.
Being removed from the tenants, it is easier for us to deal with any issues.

Reports and updates

It is always good to know what is happening with your property.
We keep you updated as appropriate with on – going repairs as the work progresses together with inspections of the work carried out and we provide you with invoices on completion for tax deduction purposes.
